Peluda has been an ongoing project surrounding celebration of ethnic body hair. This series of works contains multiple inkjet prints of various parts of my body including my legs, underarms and arms with thousands of individual hairs glued onto them. Peluda I contains three 23.5” X 37” inkjet prints using the hair collage method started in 2020, continued until 2022. Peluda II is a 6’ X 3’4’’ print on Tyvek using the name hair and UV glue method completed in 2021. 

Peluda has been featured most recently at the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Arts in my recent solo show Mechuda. Peluda was nominated for the long list of the Lind Prize.
